Hi 👋
Welcome to Week #40 of the Wrestling Snacks newsletter.
Still in Alaska as of writing this week's newsletter. However, by the time this drops into your inbox, I will be back in the lower 48. Sad our trip is coming to an end, but it’s time to head home.
The last leg of our trip was to Fairbanks, Alaska, to visit family. I was able to get on the mat two nights this week with a great group of kids. Fairbanks kids are just built different. They live in up to -50 degree winters. I enjoyed spending time with those tough kids on the mat.
Additionally, Fargo starts this week on Saturday. This year’s tournament has over 8,000 entries, breaking last year’s record for the most entries. Fargo is the biggest wrestling tournament on the planet and is also considered one of the toughest tournaments, regardless of age group. You run a gauntlet to place at the tournament. It’s no joke, and the brackets are HUGE!
